参加者は3種類の抹茶を薄茶として、お干菓子をいただきながら、飲み比べます。抹茶や茶の湯について解説を聞いた後、茶道具を使ってお点前の一部を練習します。茶庭を通って茶室に入り、薄茶をいただきます。
実施日は、基本的に水、木、土、日曜日、開始時刻は午前10時、午後１時半、午後４時です。事前にメールにて日程調整をします。PayPalまたは口座に入金いただくことで、予約完了です。場所は京都府長岡京市、所要時間はおよそ90分です。同時に3名まで参加可能です。

Guests will drink and compare three types of matcha as usucha (thin tea), while eating dried sweets. After an explanation of matcha and chanoyu, guests will practice part of the tea ceremony with tea utensils. Guests will enter the tea room through the tea garden and enjoy a cup of usucha (thin tea).
The class is generally held on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, starting at 10:00 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 4:00 p.m. The class schedule can be arranged in advance by e-mail. Your reservation will be completed when you make a deposit to PayPal or my account. The location is Nagaokakyo-shi, Kyoto, and the duration of the workshop is approximately 90 minutes. Up to 3 people can participate at the same time.

茶道具を使って、お点前の一部を練習したり、客のふるまい、手水鉢の使い方を練習します。
茶庭を通って茶室に入り、お点前を見学します。干菓子と薄茶を楽しみ、薄茶も点てます。
Guests will drink and evaluate three different types of matcha. This will be followed by a brief explanation of matcha and chanoyu.
Using tea utensils, guests will practice some aspects of odenmae, guest behavior, and how to use a water bowl.Guests will enter the tea room through the tea garden to observe the tea ceremony. Enjoy dry confectionery and usucha (thin tea), and also prepare usucha.
